Hyun Bang Shin appointed to REF sub-panel

We are delighted to announce that Professor Hyun Bang Shin, Head of the Department of Geography and Environment, has been appointed as a member of the Geography and Environmental Studies Sub-Panel (Unit of Assessment 14) for the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework (REF) 2029.

The REF is the UK’s system for evaluating the excellence and impact of academic research, shaping funding allocations and influencing research priorities nationally.

Success in 2026 Complete University Guide
