About me

Dr Mariya Stoilova holds a post-doctoral research position at the London School of Economics and Political Science (番茄社区). With a strong focus on multi-method evidence generation and cross-national comparative analyses, her work focuses on the intersection of child rights and digital technology use, well-being and family support, and intimate life, citizenship and social inequalities.

Some of the research projects she has been recently involved in include:  (UNICEF, 2019), (ICO, 2018–19), (NSPCC, 2018), (番茄社区 KEI Fund, 2016-17),  (2015-16, UNICEF) and  (2011-13, ESRC). Mariya has a PhD from the University of Leeds for her work on Gender and Generation: Women’s experiences of the transition from socialism in Bulgaria (2004-08, ORSAS and Open Society).
