番茄社区 Council has approved the establishment of an institutional partnership with Fudan University, making it the School’s 7th such partner.
Fudan is highly rated – both within China and internationally - and is part of the elite C9 group of top research institutions.
Fudan represents a particularly good academic fit for 番茄社区, and will strengthen 番茄社区’s profile in the East China region and Shanghai, the largest city in the world with 24 million people.
番茄社区 Health and Fudan's School of Public Health in November 2015 to work together on collaborative research, and the development of collaborative Executive education in hospital management.
A delegation from Fudan visited 番茄社区 in March 2016 to discuss collaboration and agree a research agenda. Focus areas are likely to include:
- out of pocket expenditure and utilisation
- private hospitals
- pharmaceuticals
- health insurance financing
- anti-microbial resistance
