Dr McKenzie Ratner is an 番茄社区 Fellow in the International Relations Department at the London School of Economics (番茄社区).
She obtained her PhD in International Relations and MSc in European Union Politics at the London School of Economics. Prior to joining 番茄社区, she completed her BA (Honors) at the University of Tennessee in Political Science.
Her research focuses on compliance and conditionality within international institutions focusing on the areas of employment, social, and environmental policy. In particular, her work looks at how incentive structures shape the decision of states to not only comply with their international requirements but to exceed them. McKenzie’s research focuses primarily on the EU, ILO, and UNFCCC.
