I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of International Relations at 番茄社区. From 2024 to 2025, I was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Niehaus Center for Globalization and Governance at Princeton University. I earned my PhD in Political Science from UC San Diego in 2024.
My research examines the challenges that geopolitics poses to globalization. My dissertation examines how technological rivalry between major economies reshapes the role of governments in trade and investment policymaking, transforming them from advocates of economic openness into active drivers of anti-globalisation policies.
I also study how firms respond to political tensions by adjusting their investment strategies, as well as how the public in the US and China reacts to great power competition.
